Josip Jadi

Feb 2, 1956 – Jan 31, 2023

We are sad to share that Josip (Joe) Jadi passed away on January 31, 2023, shortly before his 67th birthday.

Born in Croatia, Josip immigrated to Canada in 1977 and built a life for himself and his family. A proud co‑founder of Fine Cancro Machining, he worked diligently to build a thriving company.

He had a passion for soccer, traveling, and spending time with those he loved. His warm smile, sense of humour, infectious laughter, and kind heart will be forever missed. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be passed down for generations.

Beloved father to Georgina (Bradley), Joe (Manuela), Juliana, and Jennimarie (Dean). Cherished Djeda to Sofia, Simon, and Emmett. Brother of Zlata (Ivan Zoretic) and Etelka (Josip Varga). Josip will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation took place at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Sunday, February 5th from 3–6 p.m. A Funeral Prayer Service was held in the Chapel on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Stories and memories of Josip may be shared via email at memoriesofjosip@gmail.com.

Rest in peace, Josip. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
