Unexpectedly passed away at his home in Burlington, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, February 17, 2023, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Lorraine (née Ormsby) for over 30 years. Loving and proud father of his daughters Hannah and Megan. Much‑loved son of Irene and the late Terry Halpin of Liverpool, England. Dear brother of Karen McCombs (Fran) and the late John, Brian, and Jane Halpin. He will be sadly missed by his extended family, numerous friends, and colleagues both in Canada and overseas. #YNWA
Visitation took place at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 3–5 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. A Funeral Prayer Service was held in the Chapel on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. A reception followed at the funeral home.
