Bill Smith

January 31st, 1942 - September 21^st, 2022

We are sad to announce that long time member Bill Smith passed away on Wednesday September 21st. Bill suffered a debilitating stroke in February, just days after his 8oth birthday. He passed away due to complications of the stroke.

Bill never lost his love of football and had all his BOTSC team pictures proudly displayed. He spoke fondly of his playing days and the friendships he made in the club. His proudest memory was of a time when he met Sir Alex Ferguson and had a glass of wine with him.

Bill will be cremated in a private ceremony and per his families wishes there will be no visitation. They ask that all remember Bill as a kind and fun-loving family man who is now at peace.
