Born in Salford, Manchester, Mark came to Canada in 1979, never losing his thick, working class Manchester accent. A lifelong football fan, Mark was a talented goalkeeper well into his 7th decade, often showing up his kids, and especially enjoyed playing with the Burlington Old Timers Soccer Club. He was a dedicated fan to his team Manchester United, and would take in English World Cup soccer at any opportunity.

Mark worked in gravure printing after apprenticing in England, and spent the majority of his career working in that field.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Mulauli FC Academy in Zambia, to inspire future generations to fall in love with “The Beautiful Game” which he loved, or a charity you feel inspired to support
