Additional Detail to Support Caution / Dismissal
After a fair contest for the ball, which he lost, Palmer verbally challenged the opponent. This continued during the next stoppage in play. I called him to me and advised him to calm down. He continued to express anger at the supposed foul play of the opponent. I told him that the challenge was fair from both players. He turned in anger and continued being verbally challenging as he walked away. I issued a YC for continued disrespect of the game. He was perfect for the rest of the game.
Other Fixture Related Comments (e.g. Field/Weather conditions. Sideline issues etc)
Pitch was in good condition, lines clear. The score isn't really an indication of the balance of the teams. Langtry were able to finish better but the overall mid-field play was balanced. 2 Penalties awarded, 1 to each team. First was for push on the back by a defender during a corner kick and the second for a handball during a goal mouth scramble. Neither resulted in a score. Enjoyable game to officiate.
